Sundays of the Whole Home Refresh

Clean sink in front of stained glass window

Sunday is here! We have a beautiful day ahead of us, full of potential! Sundays are viewed as the “anchor” to the week here at our home. We see it as the start of the week and the way to set the tone for the week ahead.

On Sundays of the Whole Home Refresh, we don’t do any specific tasks, it’s a day set aside for rest and for spending time with family. Go ahead and make your bed, and do the daily routines we have already established (sink, sweep, laundry and dishes). Other than that, it’s a rest day!

Don’t forget to shine your sink before you go to bed. For a reminder, here’s my clean sink recipe: 1 cup baking soda mixed with 10-20 drops of your favorite essential oil. Mix well and store in an airtight container. I use these aqua canning jars and store mine in the cabinet right underneath my sink. The aqua color makes them especially appealing and fun.

Optional tasks: if you are following along with getting rid of clutter from your home, today you will need to move 15 items out of your home today either throw them away or move to the donation bin. Think about moving out paper trash, you could count each paper as an item, or trash socks with no matches, or recycle Tupperware lids and bins without matches.

Happy Sunday friends, I hope your day is beautiful and blessed!!

xoxo Lauren
